CHOICES
February is a massive POWER month. We are integrating and growing on the theme of January which was The Initiation. This month we now face the choices following what happened to us last month, what we discovered about ourselves and where we’re being asked to evolve, transform and shift in our lives.

THE FEBRUARY ENERGY FORECAST THEME IS…CHOICES

CHOICES
She looked out the window onto the barren landscape. The air felt empty. The vastness of the land and earth moving all the way and beyond the horizon. Its limitless space created an emptiness. An overwhelming feeling that she was just a tiny speck. That her just being there, looking out the window didn’t have an impact on the earth beneath her or the land that unfurled in front of her line of sight, all the way to the horizon. The earth wasn’t green or lush, but it seemed lifeless, still. Just being. Waiting. Being its vast expanse of nothingness. The expanse of nothingness made her feel restricted, confined and encircled. Like she didn’t have a choice.
She didn’t like feeling like she didn’t have choices. She’d always lived and defined her life by the choices she’s made. The directions she chose, the career paths she took, the land she found herself on, the people and relationships that made her who she was. She lived in the integrity of her choices and understood that they were part of her. The energy of her choices mirrored back to her.
She had made mistakes in the past and wished she’d made “better choices” and sometimes would shame herself that she should have done better. She’d daydream and wonder what might have happened if she’d made a different choice. And here she sat today, looking at the landscape reflecting on her choices. Her past choices. The regrets, the missed opportunities, the losses, the false hopes and unfulfilled dreams. The choices being presented to her in the now. Contemplating and probably overthinking what choices she should make. The ones that might fix or make her current situation better. Or the others that might bring about the future visions, dreams and desires she wanted.
She’d always been told that “you are defined by your choices” but the pressure of that right now felt big, overwhelming and pressurizing. Like she had to get it right and not mess it up. The barren exterior world outside of the window fortifying and strengthening the feelings that she didn’t have any choices. That the outside world with everything happening, might not be supportive in her choices or that it wasn’t the right time. That she should take into consideration everything happening around her instead of focusing on her own desires, needs and choices. To do “the right thing”. Was it selfish? Was it unrealistic? Did she have a choice?
As she sat there contemplating, an old memory from the past entered her mind. A moment of joy, play and fun. She’d been transported into a time where she felt and could see the smile on her face. Where her worries were forgotten and nothing else mattered than being present in this joy. The flood of this “possibility” energy from the past entered her body and snapped her back, shifting her energy where the overwhelming choices and directions didn’t matter anymore.
She looked out the window and instead of seeing the barren landscape she began to notice the sun’s rays peeking out behind a cloud, the wildflowers growing in the dust and that out there, whatever choices she made, she knew in her heart that they were going to lead her exactly where she needed to be.
The time in the house was giving her the space to grow into the confidence to make the radical changes that had been circling her. It had shown her that sometimes you need patience to let the choices sink into the skin. You can’t always make snap decisions and move fast. There was power in the transition of choices. The choices that were being made now would ripple through time. They would ripple and guide her onto the next phase and chapter of her life. It was asking her to step into radical trust. Into what was uncomfortable and to be open to being presented with choices across all areas her whole life. Without the need to control the outcomes.
She didn’t feel daunted. Again, she was reminded that she’d always made her choices with integrity. And this time was no different. She had power in her choices. Choices create new timelines. Choices created new paths and opportunities. They opened doors that didn’t seem possible. Ones that she thought would never happen. She paused in the flow as she received this insight. She wanted to remember this time in the house. This time in the waiting. She promised herself that even in the darkest of times and the times that she felt like she didn’t have a choice, that there were always choices even if she couldn’t see them straight away. If you quieten down the exterior noise and sit in the void, it’s where the aligned choice happens.
The radical trust that was calling her forward deeper into her power reminded her that going with the “easy” choice wasn’t always the right one if the energy didn’t feel right. That sometimes the more challenging choice, that was asking more of her but felt like a hell yes was the one to move forward with. As she kept being reminded by her inner voice, “listen to the energy of the choices, what’s your heart calling you towards?”
So she sat and listened.
She made her choices
and left the house.

We are going to learn so much about ourselves and our planet/systems/ structures in this space of polarity. We are going to be ripped open. How we connect to play, pleasure and joy are game changers this year to find our balance/unity as we have BIG topics we face as a collective. Political power games, money, supply chain and environmental to name a few. If you’ve been following me for a while I’ve been talking about the China/Taiwan/US and rest of the world tensions all of last year. This tension continues through 2022.
