October 2021 Energy forecast.... A new chapter

And a new way of sharing with you.

The channeled energy theme for October is “A NEW CHAPTER” and here we are with a new way of sharing these energy forecasts.

WHY THE CHANGE?

I’ve been getting the intuitive hit for the last couple of months to revolutionize how I channel these through. And it’s been made very clear that these now want to be told through stories and creative writing. ( I’ve been feeling limited by Instagram and my old newsletter format) After writing my book last year i’m feeling the pull again to write more long form pieces and creative writing. So each month I’m going to be writing a new story based on the theme of the month, plus stories around the Full Moon & New Moon.

I’m still going to be recording an audio version of the monthly energy forecast that will be go up on my podcast “The Doorway” So you now have a choice to listen to the audio or read the full written words here. In this space I will also be sharing journal prompts, card spreads and anything else that wants to come through.

A NEW CHAPTER

A NEW CHAPTER

She stood in front of the doorway. It felt like a moment of before and after. What was and was yet to come. The past and the future colliding in front of this doorway.

She knew she had a choice. To walk through into this new chapter or walk away until the doorway presented itself again. She’d seen this door many times before. And many times she didn’t feel ready. And she walked away. 

She’d turned her back on the doorway because she didn’t feel worthy. Other times because she felt pressured by people or situations to walk through. Once it was because her heart was so broken she felt like she needed to go a different way to pick up the pieces. Yet every time the door presented itself to her, she questioned whether she actually had a choice to walk through. Or was it pre-determined that she was going to put her hand on the handle and walk through or walk away. 

She always questioned if there was a “right timing” or a “correct way” in life. Every time the doorway appeared, she also worried that she might be missing out on something if she didn’t walk through it. But in the end she’d learnt two things. The doorway would firstly never present itself if she wasn’t ready and that she had to listen to her body and how it felt in the moment. She had to trust herself and what her intuition was telling her.

She’d learnt that the hard way. In the past there were times she walked away and then a few hours, days or weeks later wished she could go back and make the decision to walk through it instead. Would the doorway re-appear again? What if it didn’t cross her path? What if it didn’t re-appear? What if her next chapter wouldn’t happen?  But overtime she trusted that it would. You couldn’t force one to appear.

When the doorway appeared for her, each time it looked different. A different shape, colour, material and even where it was located. Each new chapter, a different look. Each time asking her to go deeper.

There were the times the doorway appeared when she least expected it, or it felt out of the blue-  and would show up unexpectedly inviting her to walk through. Or when she felt she was on track and happy but her heart and her body told her otherwise. She was ignoring the desire for a new beginning. Resisting the change. Dreading the ending. The door. Closing. Shut.

But after stepping through and welcoming a new chapter, on reflection it all made sense. 

Sometimes she’d been waiting. Watching the clock. Getting frustrated that the doorway wasn’t there. The times when she wanted to escape from her current situation and the noise around her and all she could do was will it into existence. Where are you? When is it happening? And instead of trusting the timing, spun around in circles. Patience had alluded her. Time had become the focus. 

This time when the doorway appeared, ( the doorway at the start of our story) She had reached a breaking point. Her whole body was shouting at her asking for her change. But did she want to change? Did the world want her to change? Or was she feeling the urge to change because of what the world was asking of her and reflecting back to her? The noise was loud. Overwhelming on all fronts. Pulling her in all directions. And it left her heart feeling confused and maybe even fearful. And it was all such a contradiction because on the flipside she knew she also felt hopeful and excited for the new beginning presenting itself. That was how it was supposed to feel right?

But the noise had her feeling confused in a time where new beginnings had lost their way, had been dimmed and didn’t feel possible. Where false promises, contradictions and division was all around her. How did her heart feel today in this moment? Without the noise, the pressure and external chaos….

And as time stood still in this moment in front of the doorway she had to admit to herself where she was resisting. To where she was in loss and longing. To the past that was just that. The past. The parts of her she wanted to hold onto so badly but was being asked to jump into the unknown and finally admit that she wasn’t tied or glued to what was. To the relationships that needed to adapt, grow and for some end. The memory of what her world and life used to look like. The doorway was mirroring back to her the uncomfortable truth that there was no going back. It was calling her to complete the cycle. To start the new chapter.

Her hand reached out to the handle on the door, her whole body vibrating and willing her forward. As she started to open the door, she suddenly heard a voice saying,“To go deeper” She quizzically looked around and couldn’t see anything. It repeated itself again “ To go deeper”. Who was saying that to her? Was it her thoughts? “Down here!” She looked down and at the threshold to the doorway was a fluffy black and brown woolly striped caterpillar. They said, “ It’s time to go deeper and transform, you’re so ready. It’s time.”

She was taken aback that the tiniest of creatures could have such big profound wisdom but this nugget was the confirmation that she needed. She would walk through this doorway. She didn’t fully know what was on the other side. But she understood that she didn’t have to have the full plan. She would trust. take the leap and step through the doorway. A new chapter. The next chapter “Thank you caterpillar.” she said. The caterpillar paused and scurried through the doorway through the small crack in the doorway she’d opened. She followed the caterpillar and stepped through, trusting into the unknown. A new chapter.
