This is so timely for me. I am about to step through a doorway that I know it is time to step through but there are many unknowns on the other side and I’m trying to make peace with that. I’ve had lots of bird guides showing up to encourage me, much like your caterpillar did, and so now I just need to trust myself. Thank you for this resonant share.
The caterpillar 🐛 is calling me to hide/get clear for a period of time and then to emerge as a more powerful me. The doorway is opening for me to be me-unconditionally.
I could not help but relate the caterpillar and the new chapter to the energy of the first quarter moon. Caterpillar is the 2nd step of metamorphosis, so in a sense, we are still at the beginning of a cycle. So this new chapter is setting the stage, fleshing out the characters, the story is not yet written. It gave me comfort because I know the transformation is happening, but just like nature, it's in its own time and I just need to walk through the door now. The rest will be revealed.

thank you! such a powerful story for all. i am in the process of selling my home of 34 years, the home where i raised my two boys. my younger son passed away four years ago so the move is weighted with memories and emotions. that said, i have stepped through the doorway. people wonder how i can make such a move and let go of so much history. (plus the house is pretty cool and a hub for young people to gather). i know that the history and the beautiful memories are in my heart and not attached to things, or place. i am ready to create a new story and not have trauma inform my energy field as it has. i’m ready to harness the wild, divine energy of creativity. while taking these profound, tender steps through a new doorway, i am working to go deep, listen to and stayed centred in my heart, and keep raising the vibration of my energy field. maybe today i’ll imagine myself a bright cosmic caterpillar, my vivid fluffy caterpillar coat as my aura , tingling and extending out into space as i inch my way toward a new pathway. ❤️❤️❤️
Just yesterday I listened to a Radiolab for Kids podcast with my son about the transformation process of a caterpillar into a butterfly. After detailing the absolutely fascinating specifics of how the caterpillar transforms, the question asked at the end is, What of my future self is in me right now? WOW!!! This is so flipping cool and super accurate. I have been reflecting on all the changes in many key areas of my life and life's work. Looking at how differently I wish to proceed.
